Very good product for thinner hair

"I got zero use out of the gel honestly but my hair is really thick and it states it’s for thin to medium hair so it’s what I expected. But my mother has very fine hair so we used it on her and it worked great she loves it and it defined her twist so well. This line also has one of the best scents in hair care that I’ve smelled. It left her hair nice and shiny and it didn’t flake up at all. I know we’ll be adding this to her hair routine."

"Received the KISS Colors & Carelockibg hair gel as a free sample. The forst impression was shock. I put it on my hair and teceived instant hold. Im use to having to use half the tub on my hair when it comes to get but this did the trick with a lot less product."

"I think that the product doesn’t give me the confidence that they hold will last. It seems to leave residue in my hair, but it smells really nice! I just would think that it would be better if the consistency of the gel should have the same effect as the extra hold does. It may work well for others but not me. "First, let me start off by saying this smells amazing. Almost fruity-like. This is a water-based product. So do not expect any hold. The hold level is a 6. It’s has a wonderful consistency. However, this product did not do much for my hair 4B hair/Locs."

Decent hold, great shine

"I’ve tried the wax and gel and for my hair type I prefer the wax. I recognize that this is NOT for thick type 4 hair but better suited for fine/medium hair types. I would describe the hold as light 4 instead of medium 6. This gel smells great as offers lots of shine. I did not find it to be greasy at all. It didn’t dry down sticky. I can’t speak to build up because I’ve only used it for one retie but so far. I’ll likely continue to use this my loc reties."

"I actually prefer wax over gel for retwists. The gel flakes a little more. The hold starts to loosen too quickly. Good for braids though. Still a great product. Just wouldn’t use for locs."
